Biedouw Valley Beginners trip 22-24 January!

On request by a few people I have put together a trip for the beginners group of riders, its an all inclusive trip, camping on the lush green grass in the beautiful Biedouw valley. Its an easy ride to our overnight stop of about 300 kilometres. Next morning we leave for an outride of similar distance and back to camp! The Sunday we make our way back with about 250 kilometres. http://www.roughandready.co.za/Biedouwbegin.html Day 1 Wellington to Biedouw valley. A drive through the Swartland to the Sandvelt potato area will bring us to our lunch stop! After lunch we make a brief tour through the Namakwaland and work our way to the lush grasslands in the Biedouw valley where we will camp and have a “Rough and Ready” dinner! The days stories will be told around the campfire! Distance for the day 300 km Day 2 After breakfast we leave the camp and luggage behind and travel the area in search for good photographic opportunities and travel the east area of the Namakwaland, after lunch a return to the Sandveld will see us back at camp. At the camp fire the fictitious and real drama's of the day can be told, the famous fillet will be served as the night creeps in! Distance for the day 280 km Day 3 Going home time! Back to Clanwilliam and following the dam we arrive in Citrusdal and eventually Ceres. Going through one of the Bains brothers wonders we arrive back in Wellington where our customary farewell drink is served at the “Deck”. Distance for the day 250 km Total distance for trip 830 km. Rental bikes available for this trip. All luggage goes in Backup vehicle and trailer. All meals as per Rough and ready, lunch for own account! Leaving at Nelson creek at 08h30 Friday the 22th back there on the 24th Price all inclusive R1100.00 What is included? A tour guide and sweeper, All routes available on GPS, mostly scouted and familiar to the guide! A back-up vehicle with trailer for emergencies, The guide, sweeper and back-up vehicle driver are in radio contact (2 way radios) Most tools to do roadside repairs, Some spare tires and tubes, Some spare fuel, Basic medical kit, Camping equipment and cutlery for our foreign clients. Bike rental available! Also included! All accommodation, in own tents, All meals, except for lunch, We do try our best to cater for vegetarians, Hallal, Kosher and others! Please give us some warning about your preferences! Cooler boxes with plenty of ice for the frosties, we let you replenish your liquor and drinks on a daily basis as we go through a village. What is not included? Any personal beverages, alcoholic or not, we do however have some wines available at reasonable prices, Fuel, unless you have one of our rental bikes, Lunch, Any snacks or personal titbits.
