Calling all roadies or anyone who needs to get out of the house! BMW MCC Cape is having a breakfast ride on the 26 May 2013. The ride is an all tar affair and suited for bikes.
The ride is being lead by John Geldenhuys, who will try hard not to go Malmesberry as his default destination or "accidently" find a group of rogue cyclists who insist on riding 30 abreast around corners!

I have been receiving many requests to do another of the Club's very successful Off Road Tours to the Transkei Wild Coast. The Club has not been there for a few years as we have been visiting other exciting destinations including the Drakensberg and Lesotho.

Over the years there have been requests for a "Roadies" Tour to Namibia but we have just never had the time to put such a Tour together. Now that I have some time on my hands and in discussion with Warren we have decided to offer a Club Tour to Namibia.
The Tour itinerary would look something like the following ;
Day 1) Depart Cape town on the N7 heading for Springbok where we spend our first night.
Day 2) Depart Springbok for Vioolsdrift where we cross the border into Namibia heading for Keetmanshoop where we turn off to Luderitz where we overnight.
