Helmet Cam
Last year at one of our month end meetings there was somebody who was promoting his line of helmet cams. It was also able to work with a remote which, I think, gets attached to the handlebars. Does anybody recall what it was called? I'm looking for something thats reasonably priced and also a bit streamlined. I don't particularly like the look of the GoPro as it's too square. I just want something that takes fairly decent pictures but not too fancy.
Thanks
I use a Contour Gps which is full HD which tracks your route by means of Gps and on playback you get your HD video with a map showing satellite or map von the move. Fantastic quality, bought it off Amazon. com
I bought one of these DRIFT cameras. It is great !
My one trip to Cape Town, I joined your club for a breakfast run. I filmed this trip and gave a copy to one of your members. Highly recommended
I settled for the Drift HD720. Am keen to test it this weekend on the Oudtshoorn ride. Once the battery is charged perhaps I'll walk around the garden with my helmet on and test it out
. Hope the neighbours won't be watching.
and nobody is there to see it, are you still a dork?
Sorry Eric, the answer is still 'yes'
. Good luck with the camera - I expect to see some videos next week, embedded in the trip report. (Post them to YouTube, then click the '<>' icon above and paste the embed code from YouTube into the box.

Charles
One step at a time Charles.... YouTube and all. What's this about a trip report??? I'm the worst writer in the world. Perhaps later when I get to master the thing.
