New 2012 / 2013 Committee

At the end of May a new committee needs to be appointed to manage our club through 2012 /2013.

It is therefore time to nominate people or volunteer yourself if you can see your way clear to serving the members of the BMWMCC Cape.

The following members have made themselves available for election or reelection and are therefore on the nominated list already. These are folks who have been serving during the last year.

• Warren Ellwood

I would like to thank the above people for offering to carry on working for us for another year.

Geoff Russell will also remain available to us to put together our longer tours for us and assist where ever we find we need him and his expertise.

So if you have any further nominations or want to volunteer, please send me an email at warrenellwood@gmail.com with your nominations etc.

Please only nominate people if you have spoken to them and they are willing and able to give up their time to assist. Same applies to someone volunteering.

If we get to a higher number of nominations than we need, it will be put to a vote by the club members.

We are specifically looking for someone to help with the on road side of things, breakfast runs in particular and other tar rides.

We also need someone who can arrange social events ala “The Barnyard” for us on a more regular basis.

The new committee will take up office the day after the AGM on 29 May.
