I'm planning on going to the Quarry [ AGAIN ;-) ] and Zone 7(Rony's forest tracks) on Saturday August 9.
Leaving from the Engen garage next to the Goodwood prison at 10h00. Want to be back between 13h00 and 14h00. (b-day party on Saturday so Sunday riding is out for me - maybe :-) )
Bring a little refreshment because this can be thirsty work (camelbak).

Directions to the Engen garage:
From Southern Suburbs
Take the N1 to Paarl.
Take Exit 15 (Goodwood, Monte Vista exit), This is after Canal Walk. At the top of the ramp turn left.
At the first set of traffic lights (You will notice a fruit and veg and friendly Grocer on your right) and the Engen Garage on your left.
From Northern Suburbs
Take the N1 to Cape Town.
Take Monte Vista exit. At the top of the ramp turn RIGHT.
At the first set of traffic lights (You will notice a fruit and veg and friendly Grocer on your right) and the Engen Garage on your left.

So many riding
So many riding oppertunities, so little time!
I JUST got knobbly tires on my GS and I am itching to go offroading with the new tekkies...
(I am 500% positive that I'll do better on sand this time LOL)

Not that they would have helped.
I ended up with half of the creek (sand included) inside my suit and boots.
At this point, it looks like I'm gonna make it across the creek.

I use to have long hair
I use to have long hair with a goatee and was often called "mam, mevrou or tannie". Needless to say I got new friends now. I still have the ponytail somewhere. lol Could always glue it back on for the ride.
